The DCC Partnership is a network of organizations with a shared mission to build public support for democratic values and a shared interest in increasing their impact through collective action.
There are more than 130 DCC Partner organizations, representing a wide range of ideologies, perspectives, and theories of change. We welcome a diversity of views and expect all Partners to practice pluralism.
Most Partners are democracy-focused nonprofits, though a number have narrower issue profiles but recognize the importance of a healthy democracy to their work. As a result, the DCC and the vast majority of Partners are 501c3 organizations.
The only cost is engagement. There is no cost to be a DCC Partner or use its resources. Instead, Partners are expected to collaborate in the shared work of the field, share knowledge, participate in working groups, etc.

- Topical Communications Guides. Regularly updated guides to communicating on democracy issues, from abuse of power at the Department of Justice to the domestic use of military force, Comms Guides provide research-driven message guidance for a wide range of needs.
Funds to close critical gaps & inform the broader field
The DCC is helping prepare the democracy field for the decade-plus of investment that will be necessary to rebuild public attachment to democratic values and governance.
- Funder education and engagement. Briefings, guidance, and advice for funders to effectively and strategically support communications.
- Democracy Communications Fund. A pooled fund run by the DCC that is designed to close important gaps in the field, catalyze future investment, and answer threshold questions.
